From Wednesday 9th to Sunday 14th October, Sanremo will be the capital of “risotto”. We’re not speaking of rice, but of risotto, which will be served to Palafiori visitors in 50 different recipes. The risottos will be prepared with the special rice produced by the Consorzio della Baraggia Biellese e Vercellese, the only rice in Europe to has been awarded the DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) mark. Seven chefs will cook in turn, accompanied by seven producers in seven different “risotto schools”). They will show visitors how to prepare risotto and give a detailed description of the products that go into it.
Edoardo Respelli, the most popular Italian gourmet, will be the testimonial of the event.
